Minister of Justice Meets With UN Rapporteur on Migrants’ Rights

On 4 September, in Nouakchott, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdoullah Ben Biya, received a delegation led by Mr. Jihad Madi, the UN Special Rapporteur on migrants’ rights.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss various aspects of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the United Nations, including issues related to migrants’ rights and ways to strengthen partnership in this area.
