President of the National Assembly receives a Delegation from the African Union

The President of the National Assembly, Mr. Mohamed Bemba Maguett, received today, Wednesday, in his office in Nouakchott, a delegation from the African Union, headed by Mr. Folgens Zenith, the charge d’affaires of the African Union mission responsible for the Sahel. The discussions addressed the distinguished cooperative relations between the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the African Union, regional conditions, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Deputy Fatima Habib, the first deputy of the Pan-African Parliament, and Mr. Mohamed Yahya Ould Hay, an advisor to the National Assembly.
