Emergency Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Islamic Countries to discuss the Repercussions of the Israeli War on Gaza.

The Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will hold an urgent meeting next Monday, August 25, 2025, at the organization’s headquarters in the city of Jeddah, to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting will also discuss the intensification of the occupation’s ongoing aggression against holy places, in addition to examining and discussing the humanitarian and political situations, the escalation of crimes of starvation, the war of extermination, the siege, and displacement in all its forms and colors, as well as any new developments.
The meeting will study the situation of the Palestinian cause and the Noble Sanctuary of Jerusalem and the challenges they face that could lead to serious deviations due to the unprecedented Israeli aggression across all areas of Palestinian territory. It will also explore ways to unify the efforts of the member states of the organization at the international level to exert more pressure for the implementation of the resolutions of the Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly.
It will also witness speeches from several foreign ministers, including a speech by the chairman of the meeting, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey, as well as the adoption of a draft resolution that will be prepared in this regard, in addition to the adoption of the agenda and work program projects.Prior to the extraordinary meeting, there will be a preparatory meeting of senior officials for the extraordinary meeting on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
The agenda of the senior officials meeting, which will be held with the participation of representatives of member states and the organization’s bodies, will include several speeches before discussing the draft resolution and adopting the draft agenda and work program of the Council of Foreign Ministers.
