President offers Condolences to his Ghanaian Counterpart Following a Military Helicopter Crash.

The President of the Republic expresses condolences to his Ghanaian counterpart. His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani sent a letter of condolence to His Excellency Mr. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, following the crash of a Ghanaian military helicopter that resulted in the death of the Minister of Defense, Mr. Edward Oman Bomah, the Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, Mr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammad, in addition to six other individuals. The incident involved a military helicopter crash.

His Excellency the President of the Republic expressed, in his message, his deepest condolences and sincere feelings of sympathy to his Ghanaian counterpart, and through him to the government and people of Ghana, reaffirming the full solidarity of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania with the Republic of Ghana in this difficult time, and praying to God Almighty to envelop the victims with His vast mercy and grant them a place in His spacious gardens, and to inspire their families with beautiful patience and solace.
