On 26 June, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, held talks with his Gambian counterpart, Mr. Mamadou Tangara, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Gambians Abroad.
The talks, which took place on the sidelines of the sixth session of the Mauritanian-Gambian Grand Joint Commission for Cooperation, focused on the excellent cooperative relations between the two brotherly countries, ways to strengthen and develop them, and issues of common interest.
