Higher Education Minister receives a delegation from UNESCO

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mr. Yacoub Ould Moine received on Wednesday a delegation from the Regional Office of the United Nations Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (UNESCO) in the Maghreb countries, headed by Ms. Helen Akyol, Education Sector Officer of the Office, who is participating in a regional workshop on quality assurance and accreditation in higher education in the Maghreb countries currently organized in Nouakchott.

The meeting dealt with cooperation relations between Mauritania and this organization and means of strengthening them, especially those related to higher education and scientific research.
