Foreign Minister heads to Belgium to participate in AU-EU Ministerial Meeting

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, left Nouakchott last night for Brussels (Belgium) to participate in a ministerial meeting between the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU), and the ministerial meeting of the member states of the Afro-Basque and Caribbean Organization (ABAC).

The Minister is accompanied by an important delegation from his sector.

The Minister returned to Nouakchott on Sunday from the Iraqi capital Baghdad after representing H.E. President of the Republic Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani at the 34th session of the Arab Summit.
