Prime Minister instructs Government Sectors to redouble Efforts to accelerate Implementation of Major Projects

Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Diay on Tuesday chaired the regular meeting of the ministerial committee in charge of following up on major projects.

The meeting reviewed the progress in the implementation of these projects, including the Nouakchott Development Program, compared to the deadlines, and ways to overcome all obstacles that may hinder progress in their implementation and ensure that they are completed according to the set standards and specifications.

Speaking during the meeting, HE the Prime Minister called for the adoption and materialization of an effective approach to implement development projects as soon as possible, in accordance with the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.

His Excellency emphasized the need to activate monitoring and follow-up mechanisms to improve the implementation of these projects and ensure adherence to the required technical standards and specifications.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency instructed government sectors to redouble their efforts to accelerate the pace of implementation of projects and remove obstacles that may cause delays.
