President of Republic Receives Moroccan Speaker of House of Representatives

His Excellency President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received today, Friday, at the presidential palace in Nouakchott, the Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives, Mr. Rachid Talbi El Alami.

After the meeting, the Moroccan official gave a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency, in which he said that he had been received by His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, on the sidelines of the first edition of the Mauritanian-Moroccan Parliamentary Economic Forum, being held in Mauritania. He confirmed that he conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, to the Mauritanian President.

He stated that the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss a number of important issues, noting that he had listened to valuable advice from the President, which would be taken into consideration.

The Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives also thanked his Mauritanian counterpart, the President of the National Assembly, for facilitating all the procedures necessary for holding the forum, as well as the Moroccan Ambassador for his efforts.
