President of Republic Inaugurates International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, inaugurated on Thursday evening in Nouakchott the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization.

After cutting the ceremonial ribbon to officially open this important scientific institution, His Excellency toured the museum’s halls, where he received detailed explanations from those in charge of the project.

The President then signed the museum’s Golden Guestbook.

This scientific institution, dedicated to spreading the Prophet’s biography using the latest technologies, reflects Mauritania’s desire to be among the pioneering countries to host such a project. It is an extension of the main exhibitions in Mecca and Medina, established under the supervision of the Muslim World League, in partnership with the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The fair features more than 20 scientific sections enhanced with augmented reality, virtual reality, holograms, and smart technologies, as well as over 50 interactive screens. It presents the Prophet’s Biography in an engaging 3D interactive format in three main languages—Arabic, French, and English—in addition to Indonesian and Urdu.
