The President of the Republic inaugurates the new headquarters (National School of Administration, Journalism and Magistrates)

The President of the Republic H.E Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, inaugurated the new headquarters of the National School of Administration, Journalism and Magistrates (ENAJM) in Nouakchott Ouest on Thursday.
H.E. the President of the Republic and the accompanying delegation visited the new building of this institution, the first higher education establishment opened in the country, and received detailed explanations before cutting the symbolic ribbon and unveiling the commemorative plaque marking the start of use of this establishment.
The building comprises 24 classrooms with a total capacity of 720 students, 36 administrative offices, a large library capable of accommodating 70 researchers at any one time, and two large halls each comprising: a conference room, an audiovisual laboratory, a language laboratory, a meeting room, a computer room, a permanent residence for 148 students, a mosque, a medical clinic and a fully-equipped restaurant.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mamoudou Mamadou Niang, Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and Regional Development, said that the project was a faithful translation of the President of the Republic’s electoral program “My ambition for my country”, confirming the success of the work and construction process.
He pointed out that the building includes all the main ancillary infrastructure required to ensure the smooth running of training and study in this highly symbolic edifice, which has trained generations of executives who have served the country with sincerity and dedication.
He stressed that he was proud to announce a headquarters for the national school of administration and journalism et de magistrature worthy of its long history and promising future.
The Minister of Housing stated that the design, construction and monitoring of this infrastructure were carried out with national skills, congratulating the Ministry’s engineers for the work they had accomplished.
He stressed that the construction of this important scientific edifice confirms the vision of H.E. the President of the Republic and his deep belief in the importance of education, training and knowledge, which are the only path to a bright and secure future, confirming that major structural projects are underway in all areas of this dear country and that we are moving steadily in the right direction.
