The meeting hall of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers hosted on Monday evening a meeting between a number of economic actors in the Czech Republic and their counterparts in Mauritania, as part of the activities of the visit of the Czech President to Mauritania.

He said that the National Union of Mauritanian Employers is keen for this partnership to develop rapidly between two unions operating in two countries with promising capacities and potential. As you know, Mauritania has great potential in the fields of energy (especially gas, solar, wind and green hydrogen), agriculture and industry. Our country is a natural meeting point between West Africa and the Maghreb, making it a strategic location for trade and investment.
He added that this presidential will was accompanied by great efforts to modernize the legal and regulatory framework to ensure the protection, security and profitability of investments in our country through the enactment of a modern investment law that contains many incentives, in addition to legal frameworks for the electricity and hydrogen sectors, which ensures stability, transparency and attractiveness.
He reiterated the union’s belief in strong, sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships. Therefore, Czech investors will be fully welcomed and the National Union of Mauritanian Employers is committed to accompanying them and facilitating all their procedures. We hope that the protocol of agreement signed between our two organizations will constitute a roadmap to move our partnership forward.
