President of the Republic meets his Senegalese Counterpart

The President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, held a private meeting Friday afternoon at the Presidential Palace in Dakar with the President of the Republic of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
During this meeting, which came after a luncheon in his honor at the Presidential Palace, HE the President of the Republic reiterated the congratulations of Mauritania‘s leadership and people to the Republic of Senegal on the occasion of the commemoration of its National Independence Day.
His Excellency the President of the Republic participated this morning in the celebrations commemorating the 65th anniversary of the independence of the sisterly Republic of Senegal, which falls on the fourth of April of each year.
The ceremony took place this morning at the Place de la Ummah in central Dakar.
