Interior Minister holds Talks with UN Program Coordinator in Mauritania

The Minister of Interior, Promotion of Decentralization and Local Development, Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, held talks with the Resident Coordinator of United Nations Programs in Mauritania, H.E. Leila Peter Yahya, on Thursday in his office at the Ministry’s headquarters in Nouakchott.
The meeting, which was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry, Mr. Abderrahmane Ould Elhassen, discussed the possibilities of advancing the areas of cooperation between our country and the UN system, especially those related to the competence of the Ministry of Interior and the promotion of decentralization and local development.
