In a speech on the occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Culture said that today we live in an increasingly diverse and intertwined world in which culture represents the bridge that connects the various components of society, promoting the values of mutual understanding and respect, which is a source of strength that we must preserve and develop, as it is not only a legacy of the past but a strong starting point for building the future.

He added that the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani, urged the public authorities to do their utmost to promote the country’s cultural diversity as a way to strengthen the bonds of national cohesion in response to Djeol’s call.
