Minister of Economy and Finance honors International Customs Day

On Sunday, Mauritanian Customs celebrated International Customs Day, which falls on January 26 every year, under the slogan: “For a Customs that fulfills its commitments to efficiency, security and prosperity.

The commemoration, which took place under the supervision of the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, included the raising of the national flag to the tune of the national anthem, and the parade of customs units that gave the Minister, who was accompanied by the Director General of Mauritanian Customs, Chief Inspector Khaled Ould Saleck, a salute of honor, before shaking hands with senior officers of this administration.
