Chinese Embassy organizes Award Ceremony for “Me and China” Short Video Contest

On Tuesday, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Nouakchott, in cooperation with the Confucius Institute at the University of Nouakchott, organized a ceremony to distribute the short video contest entitled “Me and China”, the results of which were announced twenty days ago.
Speaking on the occasion, Chinese Ambassador to Mauritania Tang Zhongdong expressed his gratitude to all those who organized and participated in this competition, especially the Confucius Institute of the University of Nouakchott.
He added that China and Mauritania have deep friendship relations since 1965 and have been treating each other with sincerity.
China has supported Mauritania in following a development path that suits its national conditions, and has helped implement a series of major projects such as roads, bridges and hospitals, he said.
