President of Republic sends Special Envoy to Heads of State of Senegal River Investment Organization

His Excellency the President of the Republic, the rotating President of the Senegal River Investment Organization (SIO), Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, has dispatched the High Commissioner of the organization, Mohamed Ould Abdelfattah, to the heads of state of the member countries of the organization with a special message.
The Presidential Envoy began his mission to the OAU countries from the Malian capital Bamako, where he met on Tuesday (January 21, 2025) with the Head of State of the Republic of Mali, General Assimi Goita, and will later meet with Guinean President General Mamadi Doumbouya and Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
This mission comes within the priorities of HE the President of the Republic, the rotating President of the Organization, to promote consultation and cooperation in order to advance the development of member states and coordinate their efforts to face development challenges and climate change in the region.
