Prime Minister hosts a Lavish Dinner in Honor of his Senegalese Counterpart

The Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Diay hosted on Monday evening at the courtyard of the Palais des Congrès in Nouakchott, a luxurious dinner in honor of his counterpart,  the Prime Minister of the Republic of Senegal, Mr. Ousmane Sonko, and his accompanying delegation, who is on a working and friendship visit to our country.

The ceremony, which was attended by a number of members of the government, the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Mauritanian ambassador to Senegal, included an artistic evening that included songs, dances, songs and some popular folkloric performances to express the welcome to the great guest.

The attendees also watched a documentary film on the various historical and cultural ties between Mauritania and Senegal, and an exhibition of traditional materials and products and some paintings reflecting the artistic and cultural heritage of the two brotherly countries was organized.

The dinner took place in the presence of the assistant secretary-general of the government, the assistant director of the Prime Minister’s office, officials in charge of duties, advisers to the Prime Ministry, the head of the Mauritanian Employers’ Union, parliamentarians and cultural and religious figures.
