President of Republic, AU Chairman, Receives French Archaeologist

On 16 December, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, . The President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union (AU) received French archaeologist Professor Bernard Saison, who is currently visiting our country.

The President of the Republic paid tribute to Professor Bernard Saison for his services to Mauritanian archaeology and heritage through his rich excavation research, which has helped promote the Koumbi Saleh and Taoudagoust sites.
