Chinguitti: President of Republic Visits Exhibition Organized as Part of Mada’in Tourath Festival

On 13 December, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, visited the exhibition organized as part of the activities of the 13th edition of the Mada’in Tourath Festival, hosted this year by the town of Chinguitti.

The President of the Republic toured the various pavilions of this exhibition, which features numerous Mauritanian books, publications, and manuscripts, most of which deal with our country’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage, and others showcasing local craftsmanship in its various components.

During his tour of the various exhibition stands, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani was given explanations on exhibited items relating to the historical and cultural characteristics of the town of Chinguitti.
