President of Republic Visits Handicrafts Village, Ehel Habott’s Library

On 13 December, in Chinguitti, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, visited Ehel Habott’s library and the Handicraft village.

The visits were part of His Excellency’s activities marking the 13th edition of the Mada’in Tourath Festival.

The President of the Republic and the accompanying delegation visited the pavilions of the handicrafts village, whose stands are filled with various types of handicrafts made by Mauritanian hands.

He was briefed by village officials on the importance of this achievement and its positive repercussions.

At Ehel Habott’s library, he was closely informed of its rare scientific and literary heritage, listening to explanations provided by library officials on its realities, its date of creation, and the books it contains.
