President of Republic, AU Chairman, Leaves for Spain

On 4 December, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union (AU),  left Nouakchott for Madrid (Spain) to attend the presentation of the Spanish Prime Minister’s strategy on Africa.

Upon his departure from Nouakchott International Airport, the President of the Republic was greeted by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Diouf. Mokhtar Ould Diay, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister- Counselors at the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Defense, Retirees’ Affairs, and Martyrs’ Children, the Minister of Interior, Promotion of Decentralization, and Local Development, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of West Nouakchott, and the Vice President of the Regional Council of Nouakchott.

Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani is accompanied by a large delegation comprising:

– Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, the Minister in Charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic.

– Ms. Zeinebou Mint Ely Salem, the Mauritanian Ambassador to Spain.

– Mr. Ahmed Ould Bah, a.k.a. Ehmeida, an Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic.

– Mr. Izidbih Ould Mohamed Mahmoud, an Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic.

– Mr. Elhacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
