Minister of Interior holds Talks with the New head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Mauritania

The Minister of Interior, Promotion of Decentralization and Local Development, Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, held on Monday in his office at the Ministry’s headquarters in Nouakchott, talks with the new Head of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Mauritania, HE Mr. Idrissa Sombari.
The meeting, which took place in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Decentralization and Local Development, Mr. Abderrahmane Ould El Hassan, was devoted to discuss the possibilities of strengthening the existing cooperation relations between our country and this international organization, especially in the areas entrusted to the Ministry of Interior, Decentralization and Local Development.
The UN official expressed his thanks to the Minister of Interior, Decentralization and Local Development for the quality of relations between our country and this organization, and reiterated IOM’s commitment to support the Government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in its efforts to manage migration.
