Minister of Social Work meets her Qatari Counterpart

The Minister of Social Work, Childhood and Family, Ms. Svfia Mint N’ tahah, met on Tuesday on the sidelines of the international conference “Family and Contemporary Major Trends”, hosted by Doha, the Qatari Minister of Social Development and Family, Ms. Maryam bint Ali Al-Misnad, where the two parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the minister reiterated Mauritania’s priorities in the field of social protection, especially those related to specialized education for children with disabilities, microfinance programs for vulnerable families and issues related to women’s empowerment.
Her Qatari counterpart expressed her country’s readiness to support Mauritania’s efforts in these areas.
