President of the Republic, Chairperson of the AU returns to Nouakchott from the Russian Federation

His Excellency President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, returned on Friday morning to Nouakchott from Kazan, Russian Federation, after participating in the 16th BRICS Summit, which took place between 22 and 24 October 2024.
Upon arrival at Nouakchott International Airport Oumtounsy, HE the President of the Republic was received by Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Diay, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdhaf, Minister Advisor to the President of the Republic Mohamed Ould Abdallahi Ould Ethmane, Minister of Justice Mohamed Mahmoud Cheikh Abdallah Ould Boye, Minister of Defense, Pensioners’ Affairs and Martyrs’ Children Hanana Ould Sidi, Minister of Interior, Decentralization and Local Development Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemin, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Assistant Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, the Governor of Nouakchott West, and the President of the Nouakchott Region
