On 24 October, in Washington, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, the Minister of Economy and Finance, held talks with Mr. Sultan al-Murshid, the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), in the presence of Fayçal Al-Qahtani, the SFD Deputy CEO.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed various cooperation issues, particularly those relating to the implementation of the portfolio of projects financed by the Fund in our country, including the project to supply drinking water to the town of Kiffa and several other towns from the Senegal River via Baghori, as well as Nouakchott’s architectural and health project, the King Selman Hospital, in addition to future projects to be financed by the Fund, including the high-voltage line between Nouakchott and Nema.
Both parties emphasized the need to take all necessary measures to accelerate and ensure the successful completion of these projects.
