Mauritania’s Ambassador to Greece Presents Credentials

On 8 October, HE Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Dahi presented his credentials to HE Ms. Ekaterini Sakellaropoulou, the President of the Hellenic Republic, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Hellenic Republic, based in Rome.

After presenting his credentials, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, to the President of the Hellenic Republic, and his wishes for close cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two parties agreed to strengthen cooperation to meet the challenges of climate change.

For her part, HE Ms. Ekaterini Sakellaropoulou stressed the importance of intensifying high-level contacts between Mauritania and Greece.
