President of the Republic Leaves for France

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, left Nouakchott on Monday at dawn,heading to the French capital, Paris, on an official visit, at the invitation of the French President Immanuel Macron to participate in a summit on “Financing of African Economies“.

The President of the Republic greeted at Nouakchott International Airport Oumtounsy by the Prime minister Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Adama Bokar Soko, a number of government members, the commander of the Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Governor of Western Nouakchott, and the Vice President of the Nouakchott Region.

On this trip,His Excellency is accompanied by an important delegation that includes:

Dr. Mariem Mint Eddah, First Lady.

Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad.

Ousmane Mamadou Kane, minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive sectors.

Mr.Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, Director of the president of the republic’s cabinet,

Mr.Ahmed Ould Bahiya, Ambassador of Mauritania to Paris,
