Food Safety Commissioner Receives WFP Assistant Executive Director

On 30 September, in Nouakchott, Ms. Fatimetou Mint Khatri, the Commissioner for Food Safety, received Ms. Valerie Guerneri, the Assistant Executive Director of the World Food Program (WFP), at the head of a high-level WFP delegation currently visiting Mauritania as part of the UN institution’s program aimed at strengthening the resilience of groups affected by climate change.

During the meeting, the Commissioner reviewed with the WFP Assistant Executive Director the cooperation relations between our country and this organization and ways to strengthen and develop them, particularly in the  ​​food safety area and the fight against the negative effects of climate change on the living conditions of citizens.
