President of the Republic Receives a Phone Call From Hamas Bureau Chairman

His Excellency the President of the Republic, M. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, received a phone call on Thursday from Mr. Ismail Haniyeh, Chairman of the political bureau of the Palestinian movement Hamas.
Mr. Haniyeh congratulates the President of the Republic and the Mauritanian people, on the occasion of the holy Eid al-Fitr.

Mr Ismail Haniyeh briefed the president of the republic about latest developments in the holy city of ElQuds and Gaza strip.
He also thanked His Excellency and the Mauritanian people for the unlimited support they provide to the Palestinian people and their just cause.

His Excellency the President of the Republic, M. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, expressed Mauritania’s constant position of support for the cause of the brotherly Palestinian people. The end of occupation, the creation of a Palestinian state with its capital the holy ElQuds, return of refugees in accordance with UN resolutions, the need to mobilize international community to stop violations and attacks done against Palestinian people and their sacred symbols.
