President of Republic, AU Chairperson, Receives WHO Director General

On 22 September, in New York, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairperson of the African Union, met with Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebryesus the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO).

The meeting focused on the relations between our country and the WHO, on one side,  and between the WHO and the African Union, on the other, and the means likely to develop these relations and stimulate cooperation for achieving the expected objectives.
