Republic President Oversees Opening of the 37th International Conference on the Prophet’s Biography

President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani on Thursday at the Congress Palace in Nouakchott, oversaw the opening of the 37th International Conference on the Prophetic Biography, organized this year under the theme “The Ummah’s pride and security between the controls of disagreement and the reasons for coalition” based on the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad.

The conference, organized by the Islamic Cultural Rally, is attended by a group of Islamic leaders, scholars, muftis and opinion leaders from different countries of the Islamic world, who will follow, over two days, a number of lectures and religious presentations.

The conference aims to consolidate moderation and deepen the love of the Prophet in the hearts of generations, activate the role of the nation’s scholars in addressing contemporary issues, defending Islamic sanctities, repairing intra-Islamic relations, strengthening Islamic unity and confronting extremism and radicalism
