President of the Republic, Chairperson of the African Union arrives in Beijing

His Excellency, the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, arrived Tuesday morning in the Chinese capital, Beijing, to participate in the summit of the Ninth Forum on China-Africa Cooperation “FOCAC 2024”.
Upon his arrival at Beijing International Airport, the President of the Republic was received by Yi Jianhua, Minister and Director General of Chinese Customs, Yin Hang, Assistant Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Government, Mohamed Abdallah Al-Bukhari Al-Filali, Ambassador of our country in Beijing, Khadija Mbarek Vall, Ambassador of our country to the African Union, and Mohamed Ould Abdel Fettah, High Commissioner of the Senegal River Investment Organization.
His Excellency, the President of the Republic, Chairman of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, along with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, will chair the Ninth Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC 2024) summit in Beijing tomorrow, under the theme “Joining hands to advance modernization and build a high-level China-Africa community with a shared future.”
