The Prime minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, visited Monday the ministry of economic affairs and productive sectors, where he was received by the minister, Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, and high-profile associates.
This visit is part of a series of visits made by the prime minister to governmental sectors to underline the instructions and directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic and inquire about the progress of the implementation of the president’s program.
During his visit, the minister held a meeting with the ministry’s officials. During the meeting, he stressed the important role played by this sector in the preparation and monitoring of development policies.
He pointed out that significant achievements have been accomplished in the social field by taking care of the most vulnerable classes of society, noting that the pace of achievements could be faster, especially given the citizens ‘broad hopes on the President of the Republic’s program.
He urged the ministry’s officials to anchor the values of the new administration, which employs the means at its disposal to serve the country and citizens.
In a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Productive Sectors, Mr. Mamoudou Kane, said that the sector was honored to receive the prime minister, who underscored the instructions and directives of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.
He added that this was an occasion to present to the prime minister the outcome of the ministry’s activities and its positive effects on the inhabitants.
The meeting took place in the presence of the secretary-general of government, manager of the prime minister’s cabinet, an officer with special duty at the Presidency of the Republic, and advisors at the prime ministry.
