President of Republic Meets US Delegation Participating in Swearing-In Ceremony

On 1 August, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, met with an American delegation led by Alice Patterson Albright, CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

The delegation extended the congratulations of the leaders and people of the United States of America to His Excellency the President of the Republic on the occasion of his swearing-in for a second term.

For his part, His Excellency the President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the American delegation for its presence at this important stage of the renewal of the country’s democratic life cycle and for its commitment to strengthening the old and diverse relations of friendship and cooperation.
