President-elect congratulates the President of Benin

HE President of the Republic, President-elect Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani sent on Wednesday a cable of congratulations to HE President of the Republic of Benin, Patrice Talon, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

The cable reads as follows:

‘Mr President and dear brother,

The celebration of your country’s National Day provides me with a good opportunity to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes for progress and prosperity to the brotherly people of Benin.

I would like to take this opportunity to assure you of our firm determination to work towards developing cooperation between our two countries and strengthening the ties of friendship and brotherhood that unite our two brotherly peoples.
