President-elect congratulates the President of the Swiss Confederation

HE President of the Republic, President-elect Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani sent on Wednesday a cable of congratulations to HE President of the Swiss Confederation, Viola Amherd, on the occasion of her country’s National Day.

Here is the text of the cable:

‘Dear Madam President.

The celebration of your country’s National Day provides me with a good opportunity to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes for progress and prosperity to the friendly Swiss people.

I would like to take this opportunity to assure you of our firm determination to work towards developing the relations of co-operation between our two countries and strengthening the bonds of friendship that unite our peoples.
