President of the Republic Meets With French Counterpart

On 26 July, in Paris, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union,  met with HE Mr. Emmanuel Macron, the President of the French Republic.

This meeting, which was an opportunity to discuss areas for strengthening relations between the two friendly countries, comes on the sidelines of the launch of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani also met with several heads of state and international organizations participating in this major international sporting event.
