President of Republic Meets Several Heads of State, International Organizations

On 26 July, on the sidelines of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics,  His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazzouani, the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union, met several heads of state and international organizations participating in this major international sporting event.

In this framework, the President of the Republic met with Mr. Bassirou Djomaye Faye, the  President of Senegal, General Brice Oluigui Nguema, the President of the Transition of the Gabonese Republic, Head of State, Mr. Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, and Mr. Charles Michel, the President of the European Council.

The President of the Republic has been in Paris for two days to attend the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, hosted by the Athletes’ Village in the Saint-Denis region, north of the French capital.
