President of the Republic, President-elect, congratulates Prime Minister of United Kingdom

Nouakchott, July 18, 2024 (AMI), His Excellency, the President of the Republic, President-elect, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mr. Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of United Kingdom.

The congratulatory message reads as follows:

I was glad to hear of your party’s resounding victory in the British general election on 4 July, as well as your appointment as Prime Minister of United Kingdom.

I would like to take this opportunity to extend to Your Excellency our warmest congratulations on the trust placed in you by the British people and to wish you every success in your new responsibilities.
