President of the Republic, President-elect Congratulates President of the European Council

His Excellency, the President of the Republic, President-elect Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received, on Tuesday, a cable of congratulations from the President of the European Council, Mr. Charles Michel, on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Republic for a new term of office.
The cable reads:
“Your Excellency, my dear friend,
I would like to extend to you my warmest congratulations on your re-election as President of Mauritania.
We appreciate the excellent and sincere cooperation between the European Union and your country.
On a personal level, I appreciate the bonds of trust that bind us.
Good luck with my sincere friendship.
Charles Michel”.
