Minister of Economy Participates in AU Specialized Technical Committee Meetings

On 7 July, in Tunis, Mr. Abdessalam Mohamed Salah, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, took part in the seventh session of the ministerial meeting of the Specialized Technical Committee of the African Union, which deals with financial and monetary affairs, economic planning, and integration.

The session has as its main theme “Enhancing Macroeconomic and sectoral policies coordination in Africa: challenges, opportunities, and policy priorities for inclusive growth and sustainable development”. Participants will discuss, in this context, the most important economic issues that concern the African continent.

The seventh session of the AU specialized technical committee at the expert level began its work in Tunis from 3 to 5 July.
