President of Republic Congratulates Iranian President-Elect

On 7 July, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, sent a telegram of congratulations to HE Mr. Massoud Bezeshkian, on the occasion of his election as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The message reads as follows:

“Your Excellency,

It is with great satisfaction that I have received your election as President of the sisterly Islamic Republic of Iran. This is an occasion that I take to extend to you my warmest congratulations on the confidence you have received from the Iranian people and wish you every success in your new duties.

I would also like to assure you of our firm desire to develop relations of brotherhood and cooperation between our two countries to serve the common interests of our two brotherly people.”
