President of Republic, President-Elect, Receives Congratulatory Message From Malian President

On 4 July, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, President-elect, received a congratulatory message from Colonel Assimi Goita, the President of the Transition in Mali, on the occasion of his re-election to the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for a new term.

The message reads as follows:

”Mr President and Dear Brother,

On the occasion of Your re-election to the supreme office of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, I am pleased to address to you, on behalf of the people of Mali and in my name, my warm and sincere congratulations. This great confidence renewed in you by the Mauritanians to direct the destiny of the homeland is eloquent testimony to the support of your compatriots for your social project.

I am delighted to be able to continue working with you to strengthen cordial relations of friendship and cooperation for the benefit of both the Malian and Mauritanian people. Wishing you every success in the continuation of the open projects, I wish health and happiness for your Excellency, progress and prosperity for the Mauritanian people.
