President of Republic, President-Elect Receives Congratulations From President of Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen

On 3 July, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, President-elect, received a congratulatory message from Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, on the occasion of his re-election as president of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for a second term.

In this message, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council expresses, in his own name, on behalf of the members of the Council and the government of Yemen, their sincere congratulations to the President of the Republic, President-elect for his electoral victory. They wish him every success in his presidential duties and to the brotherly Mauritanian people more progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.

Dr. al-Alimi also welcomed the honorable positions taken by the President of the Republic, President-elect and his government in favor of Yemen, its people; and its political leaders. Finally, he expressed his eagerness to stregthen the fruitful bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
