President receives congratulations from Palestinian President on his re-election

HE President of the Republic Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani received on Monday a cable of congratulations from President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for a new term.
The Palestinian President said in the congratulatory cable: “We are pleased to extend to Your Excellency our warmest fraternal congratulations on your re-election as President of the brotherly Islamic Republic of Mauritania for a new term, which reinforces the great confidence you enjoy by your people and completes the democratic process in which the electoral process went successfully and positively.”
He added: “We pray to God Almighty to grant you success in leading your country and your people to achieve more development and progress, which Mauritania has witnessed.”
He continued: “We take this opportunity to express our confidence that the fraternal and solidarity relations between our two countries will witness further development and advancement, in order to achieve our common interest, and our appreciation of your firm positions in supporting our people in their legitimate struggle,” wishing President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani health and happiness, and his country and people further progress and prosperity.
