Nouakchott

The candidate for the 2024 presidential elections, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani, said that the electoral campaign gave him the opportunity to meet the various sects and bodies of society in the provinces of the country and learn about their priorities, noting that maintaining security, stability, safety and tranquility of citizens is one of the top priorities that he is working to promote.

He added during his final campaign rally held in Nouakchott on Thursday evening under the slogan: “Victory Crowds”, he added that the national army and security forces are capable of securing citizens and protecting the territorial integrity, pointing out that the state is soft, affectionate and humble with those with rights and grievances, open to friends and neighbors, and strong, firm, hard and tough at the same time with anyone who dares to undermine our national security or encroach on one inch of our pure land.

He stressed that he will work to strengthen national unity and achieve justice and fairness among all segments of our society and achieve equality between them in status, rights and consideration, stressing that citizenship alone is the basis for rights and considerations.

He said he will focus during the next term on making Mauritania a strong, just and prosperous state, a state of law and citizenship, where the administration is at the service of the citizen, the judiciary is at the service of justice, education and employment of the youth are prioritized, and all its children are proud to belong to it, away from all hateful practices of discrimination, slavery and sectarianism.

Candidate Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani called on citizens to turn out in large numbers on June 29 and vote for the safe choice that has strength with responsibility, strength with softness, unites and does not divide, justice and does not retaliate, fairness and does not prejudice, understands the compulsions of the moment and opens hopes for the future.
