Minister of Health Visit Family, Children Hospital

The Minister of Health, Mohamed Nedhirou Ould Hamed, the Minister of Social Affairs, Childhood, and Family, Mme Naha Mint Haroune Ould Cheikh Sidiya, and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Mr. Josep Borrell, visited Mother and Child Hospital in the region of West Nouakchott.

The visitors received explanations from the hospital’s manager, Mme Fatimettou Mint Abd Elkader, on the nature of the hospital’s function and treatments it provides for mothers and children, in general, and pregnant women, in particular.

The manager provided details about the vital role played by the hospital staff in combatting the COVID-19 pandemic.
