Ayoune

The candidate for the 2024 presidential elections, Mr. Hamadi Sidi Mokhtar Mohamed Abdi, on Monday evening in Ayoune, the capital of the Hodh El Gharbi, presided over an electoral rally during which he explained the most important elements and objectives of his electoral program.
In a speech on the occasion, the candidate thanked the “communicative women” for their diligence, sincerity and vitality, noting that they represent authentic Mauritanian women with their piety, chastity and integrity, pledging to empower women and involve them in all areas of life, alongside their brother men, in accordance with the teachings of the Islamic religion.

He said that the city of Ayoune, like other cities in the country, suffers from a severe shortage of electricity, water, health and other necessities of life, which “no regime has sought to settle permanently despite the country’s many resources,” he said, stressing his determination, if he wins the upcoming elections, to change the reality of the state for the better and give it the status it deserves.
